DR. BROCK HALL
Dr. Brock Hall grew up in Sundance right here in South Calgary. He attended Lord Beaverbrook High School and completed a year at the University of Calgary before finishing his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University. Dr. Hall received his Dental Degree at Midwestern University in Glendale Arizona. He has proudly owned and operated Fish Creek Dental since 2021.
Dr. Hall worked in Texas after graduating dental school and moved from Grande Prairie to Calgary in 2020 to raise his family in South Calgary right where he grew up! He feels lucky to be a part of Fish Creek Dental and enjoys connecting with patients and getting a chance to be a part of the community he grew up in.
Through continuing education and years of working in areas without dental specialists, Dr. Hall has gained clinical experience in all aspects of general dentistry and is dedicated to delivering a high level of care in everything that he does. In addition to taking care of basic dental needs Dr. Hall is proficient with wisdom teeth removal, orthodontics (including traditional braces and Invisalign type treatment), dental implant placement and IV sedation dentistry.
Dr. Hall enjoys mountain biking and spending time outdoors in his spare time. He also values quality time with his wife, Karli, and their two young children, Quinn and Cooper.
He believes in providing dental care in a comfortable, welcoming environment built on trust and long-term relationships. His patient-first philosophy reflects the values the clinic has always stood for, and he looks forward to continuing that tradition for years to come.
Committed to lifelong learning, Dr. Hall regularly invests in continuing education to stay current with new techniques and advancements in dentistry. This dedication allows him to deliver high-quality, modern care while keeping patient comfort and outcomes at the centre of every treatment.
DR. MARISSA STRUIK
“Hi, I’m Dr. Marissa Struik. I grew up in a of Calgary, and I am thrilled to be returning to Southern Alberta to continue my dental career. I began my journey to becoming a dentist by completing my undergraduate courses at the University of Saskatchewan, while playing for the University Women’s Soccer team. I was excited to return home to Alberta to complete my dental degree at the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
I enjoy providing all aspects of general dentistry and strive to provide excellent quality work for both children and adults. I know that dental appointments can sometimes be a stressful experience. There are many ways that I can help put you at ease and I am always available to discuss any and all treatment options. My number one priority is for you to be comfortable before, during and after any dental treatment!

In my spare time I enjoy reading, playing sports and the occasional Netflix show. Family and good friends are a big part of my life and I like to spend time with them whenever I can.

Dr. Nicole Thomson
Dr. Nicole Thomson was born in Calgary, but grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. Her family moved back to Calgary when she was in high school, and since then she has considered the city home. She received her dental degree (DDS) from Western University, Schulich Dentistry, in London Ontario. While at school she participated in multiple clubs and helped run the Docs Kids program which provides Oral Health Care education sessions for kids and parents in the communities around London. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMSc) at Western University.
After 8 years in Ontario for school, she decided to return home to Calgary to practice. Dr. Thomson practices general dentistry and is very interested in all aspects of dentistry. She is certified with the Academy of Laser dentistry, a Botox level 2 provider, and a Breathe Institute ambassador. She tries to help all her patients feel comfortable and believes that good communication is essential for this.
Outside of the practice of dentistry, Dr. Thomson loves spending time outdoors and traveling. She has participated in two outreach trips; to India and Thailand. She got married in 2017, and she spent the first four months of her marriage trekking through the Himalayas in India and Nepal with her husband. She enjoys hiking with her dog Renjo, running, golf and yoga. In 2024, she and her husband welcomed their daughter, who has brought immense joy into their lives.
Dr. Thomson is very excited to be part of the team at Fish Creek Dental, and to provide excellent care to exiting and new patients.
